Our Literature teacher, Dr. Kevin Ashenbach, will give a talk on how Macbeth speaks to our troubled culture’s assertion that there is no difference between men and women and that power should be attained by any means necessary.

Written by a playwright who was raised in a Roman Catholic household and whose faith permeates his dramatic works, Macbeth is a play which shows how, regardless of what modern man may do to try and subvert God’s order, at the end of the day, reality bats last, and the truth cannot be negotiated.
