Chesterton Academy of the Immaculate Heart, a classical high school in the Catholic tradition, seeks talented and dynamic teachers with a background in liberal arts who are able to teach multiple subjects and/or multiple levels. A bachelor's or master's degree is required. Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience in and passion for Catholic classical education. The candidate must be a practicing Catholic. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, faculty at Chesterton Academy participate in the House system, which is designed to promote character and virtue, and to help students grow in holiness.
ACCEPTING TEACHING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2022-23 ACADEMIC YEAR:
Part Time Humanities Teacher: Previous experience teaching Theology and Philosophy is preferred.
Full Time Humanities Teacher: Teaching multiple levels of History and Latin.
